Miami Heat Discussion Board (Inferno 2.0)

Soooo...not sure what the hold up is with The Golden Arm. I thought Miami had made him an offer already yet still no resign.

If he's out there seeing what other offers he can get, then I'd seriously consider letting him walk at this point.

The kid Duncan Robinson has looked really good in SL, and Bam has said that playing with him is just like playing with Elli.

I love Elli. Professional. Great teammate. But he's basically a one trick pony (even if that one trick is amazing). I'm thinking long term here for a change.  IF Miami has already made an offer and Elli is still shopping around, I'd pull that offer and roll with Robinson. A younger, more athletic player, with more upside.

Just my 2 cents.

Too bad we don't have any cap room or many assets.. so many big names being tossed around in trade discussions (Leonard, Butler, KAT, Irving, Walker, Lillard, Beal, Derozan, etc, etc).

I honestly would not mind giving up TJ and JJ for Melo at this point.. gives us much more flexibility going forward.

you know I've been down to add Melo for a couple years now, but the more I think about it, the more intrigued I am at keeping our guys for another year.  Unless a can't miss deal comes about. 

Isn't TJ's contract expiring after this season anyway?
